Role Overview:

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced expertise in WebSphere Portal on Linux
  • Familiarity with WebSphere Network deployment across Linux, AIX, and Windows platforms
  • 3-5 years of experience with IBM Security Verify Access WebSEAL
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and familiarity with DevOps practices
  • Capability to drive impact, lead transformation, and work with minimal oversight

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the upgrade processes for WebSphere Portal deployments and automation initiatives
  • Provide on-call support on a rotational basis
  • Engage in AWS cloud migration projects
  • Collaborate with both on-site and remote teams
  • Deliver practical technical solutions to business challenges and translate them into effective processes
  • Design, develop, and implement WAS applications, including clustering through network deployment
  • Innovate advanced technological concepts and guide their development into final products
  • Manage middleware technologies, including patching and upgrades for WebSphere application server, Tomcat, and Apigee
  • Collaborate with development teams to create and configure new middleware instances as required by projects
