Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Analyst Assistant 2nd Shift to join our team at Seaboard. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining daily operation transactions within our plant floor system and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain a deep understanding of our plant processes and systems, including CAT2 and M3.
  • Provide backup support for other facilities and analysts as needed.
  • Assist in the initial escalation of CAT2/M3 related issues.
  • Work closely with analysts on opposite shifts to ensure all transactions are fixed and verified.
  • Perform daily checks on production transactions to ensure accuracy and validity of data.
  • Correct errors in the system in a timely manner and perform root cause analysis to avoid future errors.
  • Close manufacturing orders and validate costing.
  • Check customer orders and ensure they are ready to be shipped before handing them over to the COM team.
  • Work with the Inventory Control Supervisor to identify opportunities for training floor users.
  • Aid floor users, supervisors, and leads with process-related questions.
  • Participate in software and hardware testing.
  • Perform data entry on daily and weekly KPI reports.
  • Aid production when time permits.
Requirements
  • Basic PC experience.
  • Knowledge of CAT2 and M3.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret in the English language.
  • Ability to apply mathematical formulas to practical situations.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and make decisions on routine matters.
Work Environment

This role will spend 20% of working time on an active production floor and 80% in an office environment. The work environment varies from an office setting to production floor and outside climate conditions.
