Position Summary
This role is pivotal in leading and managing the activities of Line Service Technicians who are responsible for delivering essential services to general aviation aircraft, their crews, and passengers. The supervisor may also engage in similar tasks as those performed by the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delegate and assign responsibilities to qualified personnel, monitor their progress, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Welcome, park, tow, move, and marshal aircraft arriving or departing from the ramp area.
  • Provide lavatory and water services as requested.
  • Fuel and de-ice aircraft as needed.
  • Offer shuttle services for passengers and crew as required.
  • Assist with customer service tasks as necessary.
  • Deliver oil and oxygen services for aircraft upon request.
  • Help passengers and crew with baggage and cargo as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness by assisting with general cleaning and clearing debris from the ramp, building, and customer areas.
  • Support wing-walking duties as required.
  • Assist the Supervisor in training new employees.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • A valid state driver's license; a commercial driver's license (CDL) may be required based on local regulations and business needs.

Applicants must also:

  • Pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle) and drug tests.
  • Obtain and maintain an airport security badge and be insurable under the company's insurance policies.
  • Successfully complete Signature's training programs in a timely manner.
  • Pass a color vision test for inspecting aviation fuel.
  • Utilize a computer and email effectively, including completing computer-based training modules.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, especially for safety-sensitive tasks.
  • Perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, fractions, angles, degrees, and time).
  • Work flexible schedules, including nights, holidays, and weekends, and adapt to various weather conditions.
  • Prior experience in general aviation is preferred.
