Lifepoint Health is seeking a highly skilled Neonatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to newborns and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to newborns, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law and hospital policy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in neonatology.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
- Experience working in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
