Business Development Representative

As a Sales Representative at GP Fund Solutions, LLC, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by achieving sales targets and expanding the company's footprint in the financial software solutions market.
This role centers on acquiring new clients, particularly within the alternative investment sector, and nurturing existing relationships for retention and upselling.
You will serve as both an advocate for the company's products and a strategic advisor to clients, using market insights to influence product development and maintain the company's competitive edge.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the entire sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation to the successful closing of deals
- Crafting and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve both immediate and long-range sales goals
- Driving revenue growth through strategic outbound prospecting and nurturing leads to successful conversions
- Communicating effectively the business impact of our software solutions to first-time fund managers and key decision makers
- Gaining a deep understanding of client requirements to become a trusted business advisor within the financial software domain
- Facilitating discovery sessions to identify customer pain points and aligning our solutions to their challenges with persuasive proposals
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape and our product suite, positioning our solutions advantageously
- Actively engaging with prospects through both outbound and inbound communications to identify new opportunities and cultivate high-quality leads through use of the CRM
- Serving as the voice of the customer, relaying valuable feedback to the product development team to inform future enhancements
Requirements include:
- Bachelor Degree in a related field
- Proficiency in various sales trainings and methodologies
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in financial services or software industry
- Proven ability to influence C-level executives and manage complex sales cycles
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and market trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Skill in communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities
