Construction Project Coordinator

Role Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all facets of assigned projects, which includes planning, coordinating product orders, managing change orders, and addressing project-related challenges. The role requires effective communication with contractors and trades to ensure projects are completed within the organization's financial parameters.
- Understand project requirements, including job files, contracts, budgets, and other essential documentation.
- Establish project timelines and determine necessary dates for material procurement.
- Conduct field verification and participate in coordination meetings as required.
- Review shop drawings and submittals, coordinating necessary adjustments with the scheduling team.
- Provide shipping information and required dates to relevant departments.
- Manage material phasing in accordance with approved schedules.
- Collaborate with contractors and colleagues to resolve project issues and provide ongoing support.
- Prepare and submit change order proposals, detailing project specifics, lead times, and pricing.
- Address product warranty concerns and manage back charges in line with company policies.
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field, with a minimum of four years of industry experience.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in various software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage diverse situations effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic and geometry.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license and insurability for driving are required.

Work Environment: Initially remote, transitioning to onsite work as determined by company needs. Standard business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM.
