Join Our Team as a Retirement Services Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our Retirement Services team as a Specialist. As a key member of our Client Services & Support (CS&S) team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our clients and helping them achieve their retirement goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your passion for client service and problem-solving skills to connect with clients and colleagues via inbound and outbound calls.
  • Assist clients with questions and needs regarding their accounts, including account transactions, updates, and correspondence.
  • Assess and resolve client issues related to their retirement accounts, delivering unparalleled value and service.
  • Help clients navigate Schwab products, services, and online tools.
  • Interact and collaborate with team members to achieve individual, team, and department objectives.
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively, balancing high productivity with excellent service quality.
  • Cross-train with other teams to obtain additional skills in Retirement Services.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Windows, internet searching, database systems, email, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Passion for service with a strong client-focus and desire to help people.
  • Strong communication and relating skills, with the ability to navigate and explain complex subjects.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift in response to business demand.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, adaptable mindset, and strong work ethic with high integrity and ethics.
  • Well-developed organizational, time management, prioritization, and analytical skills.
  • Desire to be crossed trained in various Retirement Services functions.
  • Ability to set challenging goals and focus on achieving or exceeding them.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience.
  • Demonstrated desire to lead and challenge yourself to learn and grow in Retirement Services.
