As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the plasma collection process and ensuring the highest level of customer service and quality.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating donor reactions, following standard operating procedures (SOPs), and providing exceptional customer service to our donors. You will also support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees and manage employee incidents.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and employees
  • Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees
  • Manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: EMT-Paramedic
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
  • Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy
  • Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
  • Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
