Support Worker

At ACLD, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our residential team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve their personal goals and live independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and structure to residents
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal hygiene and meal preparation
- Help residents develop and achieve their personal goals
- Transport residents to medical appointments and recreational activities
- Complete accurate and detailed documentation
Requirements:
- Clean, valid NYS Driver's license
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled population preferred
- Must obtain and maintain AMAP and SCIP certifications
