Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Technical Specialist/Engineer to join our team at Net2Source Inc. as a DIRECT HIRE/FTE. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing unique hydraulic systems for industrial and mobile equipment, as well as providing technical sales support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer hydraulic systems for industrial and mobile equipment
  • Provide technical sales support to customers, including defining solutions and implementing proactive strategies to reduce maintenance costs/issues
  • Travel up to 20% of the time within the Midwest region to support Account Managers and customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of fluid power systems and applications
  • Conduct site visits and gather data to confirm design and implement proactive solutions to reduce warranty, maintenance, and nuisance issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year technical degree in fluid power or a related field; B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering highly preferred
  • Extensive exposure to the fluid power process and a Fluid Power Certification is highly preferred
  • Experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Previous experience working for a distributor
  • Valid driver's license
