Overview

Pacific Lifestyle Homes Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Associate Land Entitlement Project Manager to join our Land Development department. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the company's future by driving strategic homebuilding goals through feasibility studies, entitlements, site development, and land acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting site feasibility studies to identify potential development opportunities.
  • Apply for and secure necessary permits for single-family site development, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support the Land Acquisition Team by evaluating property search criteria and organizing pertinent property findings to inform land acquisition decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Land Acquisition Team to review property search criteria and organize relevant property results, providing valuable insights to inform land acquisition strategies.
  • Assist with additional Land Development projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the department.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in land development, entitlements, or a related field, preferably with some college education in engineering, business, land use planning, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with land use planning and entitlement processes, including knowledge of relevant regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Skilled in reading and understanding engineering plans and utility layouts, with the ability to identify potential development opportunities.
  • Experience in developing and managing project budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Knowledgeable about Stormwater/Grading permits, CSWGP, and/or 1200C Permits, with the ability to navigate complex permitting processes.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a reliable approach to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals.
  • Motivated, results-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach to taking initiative and driving project success.
  • Competent in computer software, including Word, Adobe, Outlook, and Excel, with experience in Project Management software an advantage.
