Job Overview

**Job Title:** Refugee Services Case Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Refugee Services Case Manager to join our team at Catholic Charities Diocese of San Diego. As a key member of our Refugee Support department, you will be responsible for delivering housing services to Afghan clients at the Afghan Support Program.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct thorough case file reviews and processing to ensure accurate and timely services
  • Provide assistance with case management and referrals to ensure clients receive comprehensive support
  • Respond to information requests from clients, staff, and external partners in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including documentation and data entry
  • Conduct monthly client interviews to assess progress and provide support
  • Translate documents and communicate with clients as needed
  • Organize and maintain accurate data and documents related to client cases

**Requirements:**

  • Associate degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working with refugees and immigrant populations
  • Knowledge of community resources and services
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
  • Fluency in English, Dari, and Pashto

**Certifications and Licenses:**

  • Valid Driver's License
  • DOJ/FBI live scan
  • Tuberculin Skin Test
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (desired)

**Work Environment:** Our office is located in a moderate noise level environment. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and travel to various locations as needed.
