Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Construction Superintendent. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure that project plans, timelines, and budgets are met by effectively managing and supervising site operations.
  2. Coordinate the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and other site personnel to promote a collaborative and productive work environment.
  3. Maintain quality control by monitoring and enforcing industry standards and client specifications.
  4. Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  5. Develop and maintain project schedules, addressing any delays or issues promptly to keep the project on track.
  6. Oversee the procurement and management of materials, equipment, and labor to ensure efficient use and timely availability.
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a superintendent role.
  • Experience with ground-up projects in excess of $20 million.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience with scheduling and working closely with subcontractors and vendors.
  • Knowledge of all relevant safety practices and guidelines.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
