Mandel Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Project Development Specialist to join our team in Milwaukee, WI.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a challenging role that involves managing project development from inception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Preliminary Site Feasibility Research: Conduct thorough research to determine the development potential of real estate sites, including market analysis and due diligence items.
  • Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, incorporating design, entitlement, and permitting activities.
  • Zoning and Code Compliance: Review zoning and other applicable codes, meet with governmental authorities, and help develop entitlement strategies.
  • Critical Due Diligence Items: Procure and review critical due diligence items, identify potential challenges, and advise the project team.
  • Presentation and Communication: Prepare and deliver presentations to various stakeholders, including governmental bodies, neighborhood groups, capital partners, and others.
  • Entitlement and Permitting: Prepare and coordinate applications and submittals for necessary entitlements and permits.
  • Consultant Evaluation and Coordination: Prepare and deliver requests for proposals to potential consultants and evaluate responses with the project team.
  • Utility Capacity and Service: Ensure that projects have adequate utility capacity and service, identify cost implications, and advise the project team.
  • Project Budgeting: Prepare and maintain project budgets on an ongoing basis.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research regarding apartment materials, finishes, features, and amenities to ensure Mandel remains on the cutting edge of apartment design.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in architecture, urban planning, civil engineering, or business.
  • Experience: 4-6 years prior experience in a relevant profession or position. Candidates with a Master's Degree in real estate, finance, architecture, or urban planning may be considered regardless of prior experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
