POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Clinical Registered Nutrition Specialist, you will leverage your expertise to create and implement personalized medical nutrition therapy plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance nutrition care and improve patient outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nutrition experience as a Registered Dietitian required
- Bachelor’s Degree from a Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) accredited program required
- Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for all patients; contribute to Nutritional Support Service rounds for assigned patients; track and document patient progress.

Nutritional Therapy Planning:
Offer recommendations for formulations, rates, and volumes for tube-fed and TPN patients. Educate patients and families on specialized diets and general nutrition principles.

Patient Care:
Develop individualized care plans based on clinical data, patient interviews, diagnoses, and treatment objectives; supervise dietetic technicians in delivering patient care.

CERTIFICATIONS:
RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist - Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Medium Work
  • Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
