Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the component's cost, schedule, and technical performance baseline, ensuring seamless integration of component products for each delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, document, and execute component-level Systems Engineering, Agile, and DevOps processes
  • Leverage modern Agile/DevOps development practices utilizing an agile framework
  • Report status and estimates to Agile team leadership using robust tools
  • Support small Agile teams in adapting to evolving problem sets
  • Collaborate with Integrated Product Team Leads and Component Leads to manage program-specific tasks
  • Communicate status, issues, and resolution plans across stakeholders, including Raytheon senior management, customers, and subcontractors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
  • Systems Engineering lifecycle experience
  • Experience in Space Command & Control, Mission Management systems, and/or Ground Station systems
  • Experience with application lifecycle management tools/platforms
  • Experience with Engineering lifecycle using Agile concepts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Systems Engineering process development and deployment
  • Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of program and customer management
