About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Engineer to lead and participate in one of our SEIT Agile Development Teams working in a collaborative, iterative development environment supporting one of our premier classified programs on our Aurora, CO Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate and lead the SEIT ADT in full Agile processes including sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, demos and retrospectives to ensure products integrate with the ground segment
  • Lead and perform System-level design activities
  • Participate in externally facing working groups
  • Interact with Program Leadership and Customer on program related topics
  • Conduct performance analyses, risk analyses, and trade studies
  • Work with your Team to create well written stories that are development ready and work with the team to maintain effective story point estimation
  • Support ground system development activities as well as the definition of operations concepts and procedure planning and development
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Active Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date and ability to obtain Special Access
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
  • Experience in system level verification and validation
  • Experience in systems engineering process development and deployment
  • Experience leading a diverse Engineering team, working in a multi-discipline environment
