We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Aimbridge Hospitality. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Register guests and process room assignments
- Handle room reservations, modifications, and cancellations
- Provide accurate and timely information to guests regarding hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation
- Manage the front desk switchboard and respond to guest inquiries
- Process payments, handle guest complaints, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service and resolve any issues that may arise
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus
- Previous experience in a hotel or related field is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Basic arithmetic skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
