Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Mortgage Clerk to join our team at Chickasaw Nation Industries Inc. This role is responsible for issuing appraisal/contractor payments, processing mortgage loss mitigation servicing, and providing Guaranteed Loan Support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue appraisal/contractor payments on liquidation appraisal orders
  • Process mortgage loss mitigation servicing
  • Provide Guaranteed Loan Support services
  • Process tasks in LoanServ
  • Update insurance information in LoanServ
  • Issue payments to insurance companies
  • Work and import correspondence in the Electronic Customer File
  • Prepare and document global system notes in Sagent
  • Research accounts and provide resolution
  • Review and process Debt Settlement packets
  • Send debt settlement applications
  • Process charge-offs and debt cancellations
  • Process Skip trace information
  • Index signed Ream agreements
  • Support the SFH-Guaranteed Loan Program
  • Process loss claims according to SFG-GLP regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Perform account research and provide detailed analysis and advice to management and customers
  • Provide Lender/Servicer customer service support regarding accounts via email and phone
  • Provide loss claim-related assistance on projects to support the SFH-GLP and the SFH Claims Branch
  • Process all loss claim-related sub-tasks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Possesses knowledge of the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996 transaction processing
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to represent the company in a positive and competent manner
  • Solid organization skills relevant to carrying out day-to-day responsibilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to quickly grasp business needs and issues
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment toward the successful achievement of goals
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook)

Work is primarily performed in an office/warehouse setting. Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, occasionally above head. Regularly required to twist at the waist, climb and descend stairs while carrying objects. Ability to speak and hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Regularly lifts and/or moves up to twenty-five pounds, and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to fifty pounds. Works near moving mechanical parts. Regularly exposed to general office and general office machinery noise. May be exposed to warehouse, truck, or forklift noise.
