Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage your Java or Python skills in a role that emphasizes the assessment and enhancement of current software systems rather than extensive coding.
- Implement software development methodologies to improve processes and results.
- Customize code evaluations to tackle application-specific issues, ensuring both performance and security are prioritized.
- Employ advanced mathematical concepts, including discrete mathematics, in software development and analysis.
- Create secure software aligned with best practices in secure deployment methodologies and tools.
- Incorporate cybersecurity and privacy principles to fulfill organizational standards concerning confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation.
- Identify critical infrastructure systems that lack adequate security measures in their information communication technology.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred; an Associate's degree with pertinent certifications (CISSP-ISSAP) will also be considered.
- Active Top Secret clearance is required.
- Extensive experience with Java or Python programming.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in applying advanced mathematical concepts to software engineering.
- Experience in developing secure software and implementing cybersecurity principles.
- Capability to identify and mitigate security risks in critical infrastructure systems.
