We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics and Insights to join our team at Walmart. This is a critical role that will drive the development and execution of new capabilities required to ensure the continuous improvement and accuracy of our pricing solutions and platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Define the North Star and long-term strategy for Pricing capabilities for Walmart across channels, prioritize the backlog and work alongside product to build a roadmap
- Develop and implement strategies to bring most accurate, timely, and consistent market insights
- Ensure the continuous improvement of data quality and completeness across Walmart's omni-business
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, data science, and operations), ensuring there is continuous value-driven delivery
- Manage internal and external vendor partners who service competitor and market data
- Drive, build, and develop advanced analytics capabilities that will unearth insights and enable users to make better business decisions
- Drive the adoption of data science-driven mechanisms and machine learning models to continuously evaluate and improve catalog data quality
- Improve operational and cost efficiencies by building process and tools that can scale, using technology
- Define metrics that will help us measure and understand data accuracy and completeness
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous delivery and improvement within the team, encouraging experimentation with new data sources, technologies, and approaches to help making better pricing decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 4 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 6 years' experience in data analytics or related field
- Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis, Statistical programming languages (for example, SAS, R)
- Masters in Business Administration, Information Systems, or Statistics
