Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to shoppers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, counting inventory, and processing customer orders.
  • Operate a cash register to process sales, handle customer payments, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Perform daily duties, including cleaning and maintaining the store environment, and assisting with housekeeping tasks.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Basic English language writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn Point-of-Sale system.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform other physical demands of the job.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year or more of prior merchandising or marketing experience.
  • Prior experience attending or familiarity with the community college setting.
  • Cashier and/or retail experience.
  • Bilingual.
