Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Management Team Lead to join our team at WK Kellogg Co. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing capital projects at our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and execute capital projects against cost, schedule, performance, food safety, and people safety targets.
  • Select best value contracting strategies and utilize industry knowledge to challenge contractor estimates.
  • Influence design constructability and pull appropriate levels of engineering.
  • Manage day-to-day site activities and serve as primary liaison between plant activities and engineering/construction activities.
  • Contribute to operations team and focus on delivering to plant strategy and critical business needs.
  • Work with Service Providers and contractors to execute multiple projects.
  • Provide leadership in identifying ideas, developing business cases, and determining project feasibilities.
  • Engage with key stakeholders in Supply Chain, Marketing, Safety, and Quality/Food Safety through proactive communication and alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations/codes, as well as Food Safety policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or a combination of education and significant years of related experience leading capital projects in industrial/manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated strong project fundamentals, including cost/schedule tracking, change management, risk identification, and options analysis.
  • Experience with direct supervision of contractors and construction activities.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and manage, communicate, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and other project management software applications.
  • Exposure leading projects under contracting strategies such as T&M, Cost Plus, etc.
  • Food Industry Sanitary Design and world-class Occupational Safety experience a plus.
