Job Overview

Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a variety of construction projects, including design-build and bid-build projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement of subcontractors, oversee construction activities, and ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality standards while prioritizing safety regulations.
  • Work closely with executives to establish project goals through effective analysis of project RFPs and plans.
  • Efficiently handle labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, field staff, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Carefully evaluate and secure subcontracts, labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Supervise projects meticulously to promptly address out-of-scope work requests, unforeseen conditions, and time impacts.
  • Collaborate with superintendents, stakeholders, and team members to develop and adjust project schedules.
  • Thoroughly scrutinize project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Effectively manage invoicing tasks.
  • Diligently review and execute subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Guide projects from proposal stage to closeout.
  • Promptly address any issues arising from unforeseen conditions.
  • Foster effective teamwork within the project execution team.
  • Efficiently coordinate with Quality Control and Safety representatives.
  • Ensure that project activities align with budget, plans, specs, and schedule.
  • Accurately forecast project cash flow based on the project schedule.
  • Monitor the financial performance of projects closely.
  • Prepare detailed project reports for management and clients.
  • Engage with clients effectively to ensure project success.
  • Uphold and enhance the company's outstanding reputation throughout projects.
  • Manage all project team activities proficiently.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in Federal construction projects.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or a related field from a four-year college or university is preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will possess 5-10 years of experience in Federal renovation and repair-type construction projects.
  • The role requires experience in managing Design Build and Bid Build projects.
  • Applicants should demonstrate the ability to effectively address and solve technical construction-related issues.
  • Strong customer service skills are a must for this position.
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution is essential.
  • A good understanding of legal processes related to construction projects is necessary.
  • The candidate should be able to maintain team morale and promote a strong team spirit.
  • Experience with scheduling, P6 Primavera, RMS, and Quality Control processes is advantageous.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, climbing, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection.
