Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer will perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, and at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ultrasound procedures and related techniques
- Produce images for interpretation by licensed independent practitioners
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- Credentialed in Ultrasound technology by one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or Sonographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care)
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Abdomen, Breast, Obstetrics/Gynecology (preferred)
