Job Title: Front Load Driver

Waste Pro is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Load Driver to join our team. As a Front Load Driver, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle on pre-assigned and special routes to pick up garbage. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip truck checks and cleaning, and perform other related work as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a refuse collection vehicle on pre-assigned and special routes to pick up garbage
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip truck checks and cleaning
  • Empty containers using levers inside the truck cab to empty container into the truck using forks
  • Pick up loose trash off the truck and/or ground and clean up spills that may occur
  • Transport waste to a designated local landfill/disposal area
Requirements:
  • Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works
  • Requires a safe driving record
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older
  • Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices
  • Understand Department of Transportation and State requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles
Working Conditions:

Works in a variety of environment conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations, including heat, cold, snow, rain, wind; noise and vibrations, fumes, odors, and dust.
