Job Overview for the Personal Care Assistant:
  • Client location: Various
  • Hourly Rate: Up to $15
  • Schedule: Part-time availability required
  • 1:1 caregiver/client ratio
  • Essential Skills: Experience with mechanical lifts
As a Personal Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering the personal care and assistance that seniors require to maintain their independence at home
  • Supporting daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
  • Assisting with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Providing medication reminders, documenting client conditions, and alerting supervisors to any issues
  • Ensuring a safe living environment with clear pathways
  • Engaging clients in enjoyable activities like puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
Essential Qualifications for our Personal Care Assistants:
  • High school diploma or GED; required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience; required
  • CPR certification; required
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Compassionate demeanor, effective communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
