Job Title: Complex Director of Finance

Highgate Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Complex Director of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our financial leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and oversight to our properties, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Manage and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly financial statements and cash flow analysis
  • Monitor and control hotel revenues and expenses, ensuring compliance with Highgate Hotels' established guidelines
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Collaborate with the Executive Committee to ensure property operations are on track and under control
  • Perform other special projects and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of hospitality finance/accounting experience
  • Prior Controller or Director of Finance experience, preferably at a premium-branded hotel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Must supervise 2 or more employees
  • Must be proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing, as well as hotel-specific systems
