Job Summary

The Customer Service Project Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, generating lead opportunities, and providing support to the Customer Service and Sales teams. This role will play a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaison for Key Customers: Ensure organized order entry and quick issue resolution.
  • Order Management: Input assigned customer purchase orders and maintain quote logs.
  • Order Verification: Verify customer orders and ship dates to ensure accuracy.
  • Inventory Management: Track shop orders in-house and secondary locations, and communicate updates accordingly.
  • Quote Review: Review RFQs for our capabilities and other MW site capabilities, and forward to the appropriate site.
  • Research and Development: Research and pull specs as needed, and provide diameter/length and material type to the MW site.
  • Special Projects: Complete any special projects assigned by the manager, and create spreadsheets to track information for each project.
  • Follow-up and Communication: Follow up on outstanding RFQs/orders in a timely manner.
  • Weekly Meetings: Attend weekly meetings with the supervisor to discuss action items and provide updates.
  • Customer Account Management: Maintain complete and accurate customer quotes in Visual.
  • Lead Generation: Create and implement lead-generating communication to customers, and communicate leads to the sales team.
  • Customer Account Maintenance: Maintain customer accounts to reflect accurate shipping addresses, shipping costs, and other pertinent information.
  • Customer Service Support: Assist in answering and routing incoming calls.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read precision component blueprints, preferred.
  • Organizational and Multitasking Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Versatility and Resourcefulness: Versatile and resourceful.
  • Deadline Management: Ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Well-versed in Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented.
  • ERP and CRM Experience: Prior experience on an ERP and CRM system.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Customer Service Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing customer service/sales role.
  • Project Management Experience: 2-3 years of experience in project management.
  • Marketing Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a role with marketing responsibilities.
