About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Platinum Dermatology Partners. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms, preparing them for their examination.
  • Enter complete medical histories and current medications into patient charts.
  • Assist physicians/providers in the exam room by scribing notes in patient medical records.
  • Prepare and collect path/lab specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Daily cleaning and organizing exam rooms, as well as stocking rooms.
  • Laboratory maintenance, including cleaning and autoclaving instruments.
  • Other duties as assigned to the back office.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a medical office as a Medical Assistant.
  • Experience working in a dermatology clinic is preferred.
  • Quality written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong phone etiquette.
  • Teamwork.
  • Professional in appearance and mannerisms.
  • Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients, and co-workers alike.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, understand provider instructions, and know when to seek information or advice.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working on electronic medical records.
