As a Registered Nurse with us, you will be part of an expert and compassionate medical care team at 11 hospitals and nearly 300 sites throughout the greater Puget Sound region.
ResponsibilitiesOur ideal candidate will possess:
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, standards, techniques, protocols, and tools/equipment, as well as leadership skills to serve as a role model and initiator in problem-solving, decision-making, delegating, and communicating ideas and information.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, as well as skills in strategic planning, financial, statistical analysis, and managed care reimbursement.
- Familiarity with contemporary healthcare trends and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment, including supervisory skills to develop clear performance expectations, hire, coach, and resolve performance problems.
We require:
- A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, preferably with a BSN or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Two years' experience and clinical knowledge in the same or similar clinical specialty, as well as current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Certification in a specialty area is preferred, along with current healthcare provider BLS certification and one year of Charge nurse or equivalent experience.
