Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our team at Apex Systems. This role is crucial for designing and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions in expansive environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 Cloud Solutions, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online, along with experience in managing Active Directory, domain renames, and data migration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions, and design processes to ensure a smooth migration of Microsoft 365 tenant services.
- Administer and maintain Office 365 services, ensuring optimal performance of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
- Manage complex identity synchronization scenarios utilizing Forefront Identity Manager, Graph API, and M365 services for both internal and external collaboration.
- Oversee authentication migrations between on-premises Active Directory Domain Services and Azure AD/Microsoft Entra cloud services.
- Monitor and enhance Office 365 performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Office 365 services.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients across various sectors, assisting them in maximizing the capabilities of the Microsoft 365 cloud platform.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation regarding Microsoft 365 configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring accessibility for relevant team members.
- Provide hands-on implementation and technical support to team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 architecture and solution design, particularly with Office 365 Cloud Solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Expertise in SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, MFA, SPF/DKIM, and Azure AD.
- Experience with Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager for identity synchronization and familiarity with Microsoft Entra.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 services, design, topology, and migration from on-premises environments.
- Proficiency in M365, SharePoint Online, PowerApps, and Power Automate (MS Flows).
- Familiarity with React JS, Typescript, jQuery, and Rest API.
- Experience with OTB Features, Custom Solutions, and PowerShell.
- Strong project management capabilities and experience leading large-scale Microsoft 365 migrations and tenant integrations.
- In-depth understanding of enterprise-class storage and data protection technologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to ensure seamless integration of IT systems during organizational changes.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, focused on delivering efficient solutions.
- Experience working within a geographically dispersed team across multiple time zones.
