Job Description

The Senior Financial Manager will be responsible for managing the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Financial Reporting: Conduct thorough balance sheet reviews to maintain clean and accurate financial records.
  • Budgeting: Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop and manage the annual budget.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including preparing and filing Form 990 and 990-T.
  • Audit and Compliance: Maintain a clean balance sheet and ensure readiness for annual audits.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • An active CPA license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in nonprofit accounting, including 501(c)(3) organizations and endowments.
  • Excellent audit experience.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and teamwork skills.
About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
