Work Schedule: This is a part-time position, requiring work only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations to generate a Venous Flow Map, aiding in the formulation of a safe and effective treatment strategy.
  • Assist the physician in communicating the treatment plan to patients, ensuring clarity on how it addresses their specific health needs.
  • Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, examination areas, and ultrasound facilities before and after patient appointments.
  • Perform additional ultrasound assessments as dictated by the physician's treatment plan to guarantee patient safety and treatment efficacy.
  • Adhere to established time frames for each ultrasound examination to promote an efficient patient flow throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with office and administrative staff, as well as physicians, to review the ultrasound schedule, ensuring the availability of technicians for timely and effective patient care.
  • Commit to continuous professional development and skill enhancement to meet the company's standards of care through ongoing education and collaboration with fellow Ultrasound Technologists.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and manage supply inventory to ensure smooth operational processes.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program is required.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS) is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and outstanding patient care skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, effective prioritization skills, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
