**Job Summary**

The Maintenance Planner will work under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager to plan and schedule all non-emergency maintenance activities for the Mine maintenance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed job plans, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications, safety, and environmental standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment availability and reliability* Identify best practices for providing acceptable equipment availability and reliability* Develop preventative maintenance schedules and ensure required parts and materials are available* Assist in investigating unplanned equipment failures and develop procedures to prevent reoccurrence* Work closely with the Maintenance General Supervisor, Reliability Team, and other stakeholders to meet production, cost, and safety goals* Establish and maintain accurate maintenance history records* Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance schedules* Review and participate in vendor/contractor management* Perform other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager*

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's Degree* 3 years of experience in a MSHA-regulated mine site preferred* Minimum 3 years of Maintenance Planner experience or equivalent onsite training* Safety experience preferred*
