Materials Manager

Dana Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Materials Manager to oversee the execution of manufacturing schedules and ensure the application of all production, test, development, documentation, and safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of production scheduling, customer service, engineering, and quality functions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and plant production capabilities.
- Ensure the timely and economical receipt of materials, supplies, and parts.
- Conduct studies to ensure the plant operates in a cost-efficient manner, considering technology, legal, regulatory policy, and product changes.
- Prepare reports and analysis of various cost control, production, labor, quality, facility usage, and other reports.
- Perform administrative activities necessary for effective department management, including employee selection, development, budget administration, employee counseling, and motivation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Three to five years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Five or more years of experience in inventory or production control.
- APICS certification a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
