As a member of the Silicon Technologies team, you will be instrumental in the design and production of advanced, high-performance, and energy-efficient processors. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing validation strategies that enhance the quality of Apple Silicon.
Responsibilities
In this position, your duties will include:
- Creating directed and random tests for SoC and CPU.
- Identifying and resolving issues in both pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
- Developing and maintaining a robust system-level software platform.
- Leading software development and execution plans for various SoC projects.
- Collaborating with design and architecture teams to meet validation objectives.
- Engaging with cross-functional teams to formulate validation strategies tailored to product requirements.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong understanding of SoC and CPU architecture, including:
- Micro-architecture principles.
- Memory management techniques.
- Interrupt handling and DMA.
- Clock and power management strategies.
- Comprehensive system-level knowledge.
- Experience with SoC bring-up processes.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Assembly programming languages.
- Expertise in embedded programming and hardware-software interface comprehension.
- Familiarity with hardware and software debugging tools and methodologies.
- Experience with oscilloscopes is advantageous.
Education & Experience
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, accompanied by at least 10 years of pertinent industry experience in silicon validation software engineering or a related discipline.
