Senior Aircraft Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking an exceptional Senior Aircraft Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Greenville, SC. As a critical member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of our aircraft ground support equipment (GSE).
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced maintenance specialist to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE, inspect and test equipment to determine serviceability and proper operation, diagnose mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions, and provide dispatch service for GSE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulics, electrical controls, and pneumatics, as well as experience with interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and diagrams, and manuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE
- Inspect and test equipment to determine serviceability and proper operation
- Diagnose mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions
- Provide dispatch service for GSE
- Determine methods and sequence of troubleshooting, repair operations, and modifications to equipment
- Replace worn or broken parts, make adjustments and alignments as required, clean areas, and prepare equipment for full service
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting experience dealing with Non-Powered Aircraft Ground Support Equipment
- Experience in utilizing mechanical/diagnostic tools as well as hand tools
- Experience with interpreting electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and diagrams, and manuals
- Ability to perform periodic and annual inspections and maintenance of equipment
- Ability to prepare required records and reports on all assigned equipment, identify and order parts required, and provide assistance in training employees in areas of specialties
- Ability to work safely in a team environment

Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
