Bus Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bus Mechanic to join our team at TransForce. As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of buses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and transmissions
  • Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Perform air brake and suspension service
  • Provide preventative maintenance to ensure the reliability and safety of our fleet
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in bus repair
  • CDL with passenger and air-brake endorsements
  • ASE certification preferred
  • Ability to work days, nights, and weekends
