Job Title: Lead LPN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead LPN to join our team at Summit Health Inc. As a Lead LPN, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians and staff with daily patient care and physician access.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing care to office patients in non-complex situations under the supervision of a physician and clinical practice manager or clinical coordinator.
  • Deliver direct patient care within the scope of licensure and in accordance with SMG policy.
  • Assume accountability for the quality of care delivered, including maintaining standard precautions.
  • Prioritize patient care by implementing physician orders and nursing procedures.
  • Document appropriately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Communicate and provide care consistent with age, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs of the patient.
  • Maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Employ appropriate and timely use of Tasking in EHR.
  • Schedule appointments appropriately and accurately according to department guidelines.
  • Administer injections according to appropriate protocol and document accurately in EHR.
  • Effectively communicate problems, concerns, or issues to the Office Supervisor/Manager appropriately and promptly.
  • Ensure proper preparation for patient visits and prepare pertinent information needed for patient visits.
Requirements:
  • Vocational/Technical School/Diploma Program required; Associates degree preferred.
  • New Jersey State Nursing License and BLS certification required.
  • 0-1 years' experience; 2-4 years' experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks in a timely manner.
Work Environment:

The Lead LPN will work in a fast-paced office environment and will be required to commute to satellite offices as needed.
