We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Cornerstone Building Brands. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance our overall performance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify and report any quality issues or defects to the Quality Department Leadership
- Provide training and support to production associates on quality procedures and best practices
- Develop and maintain quality records and reports, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize quality performance
- Communicate effectively with team leaders, supervisors, and associates to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Provide support and guidance to external customers, field sales, marketing, and warranty personnel on quality-related matters
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis and quality audits
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools
- Basic reading and math skills, with ability to read a tape measure and perform calculations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis, and to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and standing for long periods
