Engineering Technician IV

Job Summary
SAIC is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Systems Specialist to support the U.S. Navy in Crane, IN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the design, testing, and maintenance of electro-mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Workload supports AEA division Electro-Mechanical repair and Machining support for multiple DoD Systems across all NSWC Divisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical solutions to complex problems.
- Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions, collect, maintain, organize, compile, and manipulate technical data.
- Support engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems.
- Prepare inputs for test plans, review test plans and procedures, and conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment, or component testing.
- Analyze test results, determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.
- Assist in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials pertinent to specific items of equipment or component parts.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree and at least 4 years of related experience or High School Diploma and 6 years of related experience.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; Interim Secret needed to start.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to work from schematics and engineering drawings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Soldering experience preferred, but not required.
