Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Planner to join our team at Textron. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production of components, subassemblies, and major assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain process planning for components, subassemblies, and major assemblies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production workflows
  • Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, models, and technical specifications
  • Determine proper work sequences, routings, and facility layouts to optimize production efficiency
  • Provide process planning support to manufacturing operations and coordinate tooling requirements
  • Validate planning work performed by peers and lower planner classifications

Requirements:

  • Two years of college, trade school, or military training in a technical field such as engineering, science, mathematics, or CAD/CAM systems
  • Or five or more years of aircraft manufacturing and assembly experience at the A level
  • Or two or more years of aircraft manufacturing and assembly experience at the A level and two or more years of experience as a Class II General Planner
