Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and nurture a diverse team of engineers, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize strong leadership capabilities in mentoring, coaching, and conflict resolution to enhance team dynamics and performance.
  • Leverage Openlink Endur knowledge to guide projects, ensuring effective integration with other trading systems.
  • Engage in hands-on software development, including pair programming and troubleshooting of new features.
  • Drive project ownership by defining requirements, managing schedules, and ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including developers, traders, and management teams, to optimize system performance and user satisfaction.
  • Contribute to discussions on system and architecture design, actively participating in the development of new features.
  • Oversee the integration and support of systems connected to Openlink Endur, including message buses and third-party integrations.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Openlink Endur, capable of guiding related projects and support activities.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of 5 or more engineers in a technical setting, with a focus on mentoring and team development.
  • Proficient in writing Endur software using OpenJVS or OpenComponents.
  • Experience in developing production software applications outside of Endur.
  • Familiarity with system architecture principles, particularly in distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of energy trading risk management asset classes, especially in natural gas and power.
  • Experience in integrating and supporting additional systems with Openlink Endur.
  • Ability to manage both software and support engineers effectively.
  • Proficient in project ownership, defining requirements, and leading development initiatives.

Compensation Package:

  • Base salary range: $250,000 - $350,000
  • Annual bonus potential, bringing total compensation to $400k - $500k
  • Hybrid working model available
