Bowling Center Team Member

**About the Job:**
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bowling Center Team Member at the Air Education and Training Command. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and provide exceptional service to our patrons.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manning the customer service desk within the bowling center, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all guests.
- Assigning lanes, operating control consoles, renting shoes, and selling items in the pro shop with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conducting inventories of pro shop items, snack bar resale items, facility equipment, and other supply items to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Demonstrating and instructing participants on proper equipment use and providing guidance on bowling techniques to enhance their experience.
- Informing supervisors of equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs to ensure seamless operations.
- Serving as a supervisor, leader, or coordinator for daily activities, overseeing employee performance, and promoting teamwork.
- Assisting in advertising and recruiting participants for leagues, tournaments, special events, and open play activities, using creative strategies to increase engagement.
- Ensuring activities are properly scheduled, facilities are set up, and rules and regulations are observed to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Performing opening and closing procedures for the bowling facility, including setting up and cleaning equipment.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, handling customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintaining attention to detail.

- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and move quickly around the facility.
- Willingness to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and complete food safety training to meet regulatory requirements.
