Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the room and equipment for endoscopic procedures, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Clean and sterilize equipment after procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Work closely with the Endoscopic Specialist to communicate supply needs and ensure seamless procedure execution.
- Serve as a patient advocate, protecting confidential information and ensuring patient rights are respected.
- Meet with patients to review forms and perform administrative duties, including collecting biopsy specimens and maintaining a sterile field.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
