Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team responsible for implementing IP law content into Clarivate software and services.
  • Collaborate closely with other Managers within IP Laws to ensure accuracy of IP law updates.
  • Liaise with Product Managers and IT teams to implement IP law changes.
  • Be the primary Subject Matter Expert for IP law maintenance and calculations.
  • Manage updates to legal documents and create standard operating procedures.
  • Evaluate current processes and make recommendations for improvement.

About the Team

Our team is responsible for providing periodic releases of IP law updates to our clients. The main purpose of this role is to manage the team responsible for implementing IP law content into Clarivate Software, particularly IP Management Systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal degree.
  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years in the intellectual property industry with experience in Portfolio Management software, docketing practice, and IP law calculations.
  • 8+ years of expertise and understanding of Patent rules, procedures, and prosecution workflow of the USPTO, EPO, PCT, WIPO and other national and international governing bodies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • People management experience.
  • Experience in project management and business process development.
  • Patent Attorney/Agent Registration or IP Paralegal experience.
  • Experience working with product development or technology teams.

What We Offer

Full-time, permanent position with flexible work hours to accommodate meetings with other time zones/regions. This is a hybrid role working 2-3 days a week in one of our US, London, or Jersey offices.
