Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist II to join our team at AdventHealth Littleton. As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing procedures, maintaining patient safety, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply electrodes in accordance with the ACNS guidelines.
  • Perform prescribed testing.
  • May perform video EEG monitoring in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
  • Review patient's history and educate patient about procedure.
  • Monitor and document patient's condition and respond to and report adverse events reactions.
  • Identify and correct for artifacts.
  • Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
  • Score/graph, analyze, document, and report results of diagnostic procedures.
  • On call requirement per department policy.
  • Help train Tech I and Students.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program, or an Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is desired.
  • 2 years of experience in performance of procedures in a patient care environment.
  • BLS American Heart Association.
  • Has passed examination and obtained the credential appropriate to the modality of practice (ie. R. EEGT. or r. EPT.).
