Compensation and Benefits Specialist

Job Overview
Promises Behavioral Health is seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our team. This part-time (30 hours per week) position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, plan changes, and benefit-related claims.
- Prepare and conduct benefits meetings for employees.
- Serve as primary contact with carriers and third-party administrators.
- Process bi-weekly funding of HSA and FSA accounts.
- Update weekly 401(k) changes within the payroll system.
- Review and reconcile all monthly benefit bills.
- Provide information to auditors for annual 401(k) audit.
- Process leave of absence requests, disability paperwork, FMLA, medical, and personal leaves.
- Set up benefits payment arrangements with employees prior to Leave of Absence.
- Process unemployment claims with appropriate documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years' experience administering benefits and extensive knowledge of HR functions with an emphasis on benefits required.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now platform preferred.
