About the Role:

St. Luke's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Sports Performance Coach to join our team. As a Sports Performance Coach, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sports performance training programs for individual or group athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement sports performance training programs at school districts and St. Luke's Sports Performance Centers.
  • Conduct human performance assessments and interpret results to apply effective program design.
  • Collaborate with sports medicine personnel to implement injury prevention, rehabilitation, and reconditioning plans.
  • Maintain a safe and organized training environment.
  • Prepare and conduct education sessions on various sports performance topics.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on industry developments.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Certification as a Strength and Conditioning Coach (SCCC) or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of one year of experience as a performance coach, working directly with athletes. Internship with a recognized sports performance organization is a plus.
